What does a T-Tech AMC typically cover?
A standard T-Tech AMC covers: preventive maintenance visits (quarterly as standard), break-fix response with defined SLA, firmware and patch management, documentation maintenance, and vendor coordination for warranty issues. Premium AMC adds 24/7 monitoring, proactive alerting, and same-day on-site response. The exact scope is agreed in the AMC contract and can be customised to your equipment portfolio and requirements.
What is not covered by a standard AMC?
Standard AMC covers maintenance of existing equipment. It does not typically cover: procurement of new equipment, major infrastructure upgrades, structured cabling installation, and consumables (printer toner, batteries). These items can be added as separate services or included in a premium AMC at agreed rates. T-Tech will be transparent about what is in and out of scope before you sign.
Can we add new equipment to our AMC during the year?
Yes. T-Tech AMCs include a change control process for adding new equipment during the contract period. New equipment is added at a pro-rated rate for the remaining contract period. This keeps your maintenance coverage aligned with your actual infrastructure as it grows.
