IoT Services — Connected Devices, Real-Time Intelligence, Automated Operations

The Internet of Things connects physical assets — machines, buildings, vehicles, environmental sensors, and infrastructure — to digital networks, enabling real-time monitoring, remote control, and data-driven automation at a scale that was previously impossible or prohibitively expensive. An industrial plant with IoT-enabled predictive maintenance detects equipment degradation weeks before failure. A smart building with IoT environmental sensors reduces energy consumption by 20-30%. A logistics company with IoT fleet tracking reduces idle time and fuel consumption significantly.

T-Tech designs and deploys IoT solutions for industrial, commercial, and agricultural applications across Pakistan, the UAE, the UK, and the USA. Our IoT practice covers the full stack — sensor selection and integration, connectivity (4G LTE, LoRaWAN, Wi-Fi, NB-IoT), edge computing, cloud IoT platform (AWS IoT Core, Azure IoT Hub, Google Cloud IoT), data processing and analytics, and IoT security. We connect your physical world to your business intelligence.

FAQS

What connectivity option should we use for IoT — 4G, Wi-Fi, or LoRaWAN?

The right connectivity depends on: distance (LoRaWAN for long range outdoors, Wi-Fi for short range indoors, 4G for anywhere with cellular coverage); data volume (LoRaWAN handles small sensor readings, 4G handles video; Wi-Fi handles both); power (LoRaWAN devices run on batteries for years, 4G requires regular charging, Wi-Fi is intermediate); and cost (LoRaWAN has no per-device data cost, 4G has SIM data costs). T-Tech's IoT design selects the optimal connectivity for each application.

How do you ensure IoT devices are secure?

IoT security failures are a major attack vector — compromised IoT devices have been used in large DDoS attacks and as entry points into corporate networks. T-Tech implements: unique device identity (X.509 certificates, not shared passwords), encrypted communication (TLS for all device-to-cloud data), network segmentation (IoT devices on isolated network segments), secure firmware updates (signed updates, verified before installation), and monitoring (anomalous device behaviour alerting). These controls are built in at deployment, not added later.

We have machines from the 1990s that aren't connected to anything. Can they be IoT-enabled?

Yes — legacy machine monitoring is one of T-Tech's most common IoT use cases. For machines without digital outputs, T-Tech installs external sensors (current clamps for motor monitoring, vibration sensors for bearing health, temperature sensors for heat detection) that capture machine operating state without modifying the machine. These sensors connect to IoT gateways that forward data to cloud platforms for analytics. This approach avoids modifying legacy machines and typically requires no production downtime during installation.
